Most people start by finding a business idea based on something they think is cool. "AI is exciting right now, let me build something with AI." They build it. Launch it. Get precisely zero users and zero engagement. Then they wonder what went wrong. I'll tell you what went wrong. They built what they thought was cool, not what actually solves a real problem. And look, that's fine if your goal is to build cool stuff. But there's a massive difference between that and building something with the goal of making money. The real problem: you're starting from the wrong end. If you want to build something people actually pay for, you need to deeply understand the problem space. In my experience, there are really only two ways to get there: 1. You already live in that world. You have years of experience in the field and you personally feel the pain.
