Hi everyone, I’ve been working on a SaaS solution for a very specific niche. I thought I had found a relatively untapped gap in the market, but I just discovered someone else is currently developing almost the exact same thing. It’s a bit of a gut punch, but I’m trying to stay objective. For those of you who have been in this position: - Do you pivot immediately or do you double down on your own execution? - How do you research them without getting discouraged? I’m looking for ways to find their weaknesses without obsessing over their progress. - Is a small niche big enough for two? My fear is that in a specialized market, the first one to launch wins it all. I’d love to hear some "war stories" or advice on how to shift my mindset from 'I’ve been scooped' to 'this validates the market.' Thanks!
