12 months after launching my saas it crossed $9k/month and about 700 paying users. third project i've built. first two made exactly $0. so i have a pretty clear picture of what actually moves the needle versus what just keeps you busy. for context, my saas helps founders find validated startup ideas by scraping real complaints from g2, app stores, reddit, upwork, and capterra, then turning those into buildable opportunities. what worked: 1. reddit over everything else. i got my first 30+ customers from reddit alone. not by spamming links but by genuinely participating in subs where founders hang out. when someone posted about struggling to find a good idea, i'd share what i learned from analyzing thousands of negative reviews. some of those people asked what tool i used, i'd send them a link. organic, zero ad spend. 2. building something i desperately needed myself. i spent weeks scrolling reddit and reading g2 reviews manually trying to find problems worth solving. that pain made ...
